The top three Thoroughbreds currently racing are all trained in the United States, the Longines World's Best Racehorse Rankings, released Friday indicated.
The ranking, published by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities, put the 2012 U.S. Horse of the Year, Wise Dan, second among all horses that have raced between Dec. 1, 2012, and July 14. Wise Dan has won seven straight races on the turf and 10 of his last 11, to earn a 129 rating.
