The Budapest victory was her third career crown, and came quickly on the heels of triumphs last month at Nuremberg and 's-Hertogenbosch. Halep has dropped one of 17 matches during the span.
Meusburger, meanwhile, fell in just her second career WTA final. Her only other appearance was a loss at Bad Gastein in 2007.
