Stanford birdied her final three holes late in the afternoon at the Grey Silo course to grab a share of the lead. Matthew had an early tee time and bounced back from a bogey she suffered on her second hole of the day. The 63 for Matthew was the lowest 18-hole score she has ever posted on the LPGA Tour.

Park has six victories this year that include all three major events played thus far. She also has captured each of her last three tournaments.

She was joined at 65 by Meena Lee, Belen Mozo, Hee Young Park and Irene Cho. Defending champion Brittany Lang shot a 2-under 69 to open the event.
