MLB: Minnesota 6, Toronto 0

TORONTO, July 6 (UPI) -- Mike Pelfrey fired six shutout innings, Brian Dozier drove in four runs and the Minnesota Twins beat Toronto 6-0 Saturday to break a six-game skid.

Pelfrey (4-6), activated from the disabled list this week, yielded just three hits in notching his first victory since May 5 -- a span of eight starts. The right-hander issued three walks and struck out two.

Dozier ignited a three-run third inning with an RBI groundout and added a three-run homer in the seventh to cap the scoring.

Jamey Carroll and Joe Mauer each contributed an RBI as the Twins evened their three-game series.

R.A. Dickey (8-9) was roughed up for six runs on seven hits over seven frames for the Blue Jays.
