Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez lost an endorsement deal Friday as police continue their investigation of a homicide that occurred near his house.

The makers of Muscle Milk, CytoSport, released a statement that the company was ending its contract with Hernandez "in light of the investigation."

Hernandez is also endorsed by Puma, but the company had no comment as to whether they would continue to endorse him.

Police have searched Hernandez's house after linking a car rented in his name to the apartment, and are expected to execute an arrest warrant on him soon for obstruction of justice. The warrant has not yet been issued, but comes after Hernandez destroyed his home security system and cell phone, which may have been valuable pieces of evidence.
