MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers 6, New York Yankees 0 (2nd game)

NEW YORK, June 19 (UPI) -- Chris Capuano and two relievers combined on a three-hitter Wednesday in boosting the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 6-0 victory over the New York Yankees.

The Dodgers earned a split of a day-night doubleheader in the first two games they had played in Yankee Stadium since 1981. New York won the opener 6-4.

Los Angeles produced a dozen hits and took the lead in the first on RBI singles from Adrian Gonzalez and Hanley Ramirez.

Andre Ethier doubled home a run in the third and Ramirez contributed another run-scoring single during the Dodgers' two-run fifth. Yasiel Puig hit his fifth home run of the season in the seventh inning.

Capuano (3-4) gave up all three New York hits without a walk in six innings of work. He struck out four. Chris Withrow and Brandon League combined to retire the last nine Yankees in order.

The loss went to Phil Hughes (3-6), who surrendered five runs on 10 hits in six frames.
