MLB: Toronto 7, Texas 2

ARLINGTON, Texas, June 16 (UPI) -- Chien-Ming Wang fired seven scoreless innings and Adam Lind lofted a three-run homer Sunday, lifting Toronto to a series-sweeping 7-2 win over Texas.

Neil Wagner recorded the final out of the game for his first save after the Rangers had scored twice in the ninth against Juan Perez.

Lind (3-for-5) connected in the seventh as Toronto posted a fifth straight win for the first time since 2011.

J.P. Arencibia added a two-run homer, and Colby Rasmus also went deep for the Blue Jays.

Toronto squeezed four runs out of Texas starter Derek Holland (5-4) on 10 hits through six innings as the reeling Rangers, dropped a sixth straight overall.

Elvis Andrus provided the only RBI for Texas.
