MLB: Colorado 8, San Diego 7 (10 innings)

DENVER, June 9 (UPI) -- Dexter Fowler went 4-for-6 and delivered the game-winning hit in the 10th inning Sunday, rallying the Colorado Rockies over San Diego 8-7.

The Rockies were trailing 7-4 in the ninth but staged a comeback off Padres closer Luke Gregerson to pull even, capped by a two-out, two-run double from Carlos Gonzalez.

Then in the 10th, Todd Helton drew a leadoff walk from Tyson Ross (0-3) and one out later went to second on a Jonathan Herrera single.

Joe Thatcher came in to pitch and the runners each moved up a base on Tyler Colvin's groundout.

That brought up Fowler, who sent a base hit up the middle for a walk-off game-winner.

Rex Brothers (2-0) earned the decision with a scoreless top of the 10th for the Rockies, who split a four-game series with San Diego and pulled 1 1/2 games behind National League West-leading Arizona.

Troy Tulowitzki went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer for Colorado.
