PITTSBURGH, June 1 (UPI) -- Mike Leake and three Cincinnati relievers combined on a 10-hit shutout Saturday and the Cincinnati Reds bested Pittsburgh 2-0.
Leake (5-2) scattered seven hits, issued just one walk and struck out five for the Reds, who followed up their 6-0 victory Friday with a second straight whitewash of their National League Central rivals.
Sam LeCure and Jonathan Broxton each fired a scoreless inning of relief and Aroldis Chapman notched his 14th save despite allowing a hit and walk in the ninth as Cincinnati corralled a fourth win in six games overall.
Brandon Phillips and Joey Votto each provided a run-scoring single in the victory.
Pirates starter Francisco Liriano (3-2) took the hard-luck loss despite yielding just one run on four hits over six innings, striking out 11.
