MLB: New York Mets 2, New York Yankees 1

NEW YORK, May 29 (UPI) -- The New York Mets scored a pair of runs off Mariano Rivera in the bottom of the ninth Tuesday to grab a 2-1 win over the visiting New York Yankees.

Daniel Murphy doubled to open the frame and David Wright and Lucas Duda followed with RBI singles that handed Rivera (0-1) the loss and a blown save on the same night he had thrown out the ceremonial first pitch in his final appearance at Citi Field.
