MLB: Colorado 5, San Francisco 0

SAN FRANCISCO, May 25 (UPI) -- Tyler Chatwood and three relievers teamed to throw a five-hit shutout Friday in sending Colorado to its third straight win -- 5-0 over San Francisco.

Chatwood improved to 3-0 in five starts since being called up from Class AAA Colorado Springs. He gave up four hits with four strikeouts while throwing 88 pitches in six innings.

Josh Outman, Matt Belisle and Wilton Lopez worked an inning each to complete the blanking.

The Colorado offense was paced by Michael Cuddyer, who doubled home two runs in the first and hit a solo homer in the sixth. Carlos Gonzalez also had a solo shot in the eighth.

Tim Lincecum (3-4) took the loss, giving up four runs on seven hits in seven innings. He struck out eight.
