MLB: Philadelphia 3, Cincinnati 2

PHILADELPHIA, May 19 (UPI) -- Eric Kratz and Freddy Galvis socked back-to-back homers in the bottom of the ninth Sunday, rallying the Philadelphia Phillies over Cincinnati 3-2.

Trailing 2-0 in the eighth, the Phillies began the comeback when Chase Utley drove in Ben Revere with a bloop single off reliever Sean Marshall, cutting the deficit to one run.

Then, facing Reds closer Aroldis Chapman (3-2) with one out in the ninth, Kratz connected on a line drive that landed deep in the left-field bleachers for the equalizer. Galvis, batting next, followed by smacking a pitch just inside the left-field foul pole for the game-winner.

Anthony Bastardo (2-1) earned the decision with a scoreless top of the ninth after starter Jonathan Pettibone had yielded one earned run over seven innings.

Revere went 3-for-4 for the Phillies, who took the rubber match of a three game set.

Jay Bruce smacked a solo homer for the Reds.
