PITTSBURGH, May 19 (UPI) -- Jason Castro scored the go-ahead run on a fielder's choice in the 11th inning Saturday and Houston went on to defeat Pittsburgh 4-2 in an interleague game.
With the game tied 2-2 in the 11th, Castro led off with a double against Bryan Morris (1-2). One out later, Carlos Pena was intentionally walked and both runners moved up a base on a wild pitch.
With the infield drawn in, Matt Dominguez sent a grounder to second baseman Neil Walker, who threw home. But Castro slid around a tag from Pirates catcher Russell Martin for the go-ahead score.
Pinch-hitter J.D. Martinez then added an insurance run with an RBI single.
Jose Cisnero (1-0) notched his first major league win with 3 2/3 shutout innings and Jose Veras collected his sixth save as the Astros evened their three-game set.
Bucs starter A.J. Burnett limited Houston to one run on five hits over seven full frames.
Gaby Sanchez and Brandon Inge drove in runs for Pittsburgh.
