MLB: Chicago White Sox 5, Los Angeles Angels 4

ANAHEIM, Calif., May 17 (UPI) -- Jeff Keppinger's bases-loaded walk put Chicago ahead during a three-run eighth Thursday and the White Sox held on to edge the Los Angeles Angels 5-4.

The White Sox rallied to win their third in a row, batting around in the eighth while scoring three times on three hits.

With Dane De La Rosa (1-1) on the mound for the Angels, Alejandro De Aza opened the eight with a single and moved to third on a base hit by Alexei Ramirez.

De La Rosa then threw a wild pitch while Alex Rios was at bat, allowing De Aza to score, and Adam Dunn singled in Ramirez with the tying run.

Michael Kohn came on to replace De La Rosa and walked three batters in a row. Keppinger was the last of those, forcing in Dunn to give the White Sox the lead.

The Chicago rally gave the victory to Matt Lindstrom (2-2), who worked only a third of an inning in relief of starter Jose Quintana.
