PHILADELPHIA, May 5 (UPI) -- Adeiny Hechavarria belted a grand slam en route to seven RBI and Justin Ruggiano homered twice Sunday in Miami's 14-2 rout of Philadelphia.
Hechavarria delivered a bases-clearing triple in the first inning while Marcell Ozuna went 4-for-5 with three RBI for the Marlins, who banged out 13 hits in the one-sided victory.
Ruggiano cracked solo and a two-run blasts and scored four times while Juan Pierre went 3-for-5, crossing the plate twice as Miami earned a four-game split with the Phillies.
Kevin Slowey (1-2) collected his first win as a Marlin, surrendering just two hits over seven shutout frames. The right-hander walked two and struck out seven.
Philadelphia's Roy Halladay (2-4), meanwhile, was pounded for a second straight start. He was torched for nine runs on four hits over just 2 1/3 innings as his ERA ballooned to 8.65.
Freddie Galvis provided the Phillies' only RBI.
