LOS ANGELES, April 28 (UPI) -- Jonathan Quick made 23 saves Saturday and the Los Angeles Kings wrapped up the fifth seed in Western Conference with a 3-2 victory over San Jose.
Slava Voynov, Kyle Clifford and Justin Williams each netted a goal as the defending NHL champions concluded their regular season with a 27-16-5 record.

They will begin the Stanley Cup playoffs on the road against the fourth-seeded St. Louis Blues.
Antti Niemi turned aside 24 shots for sixth-seeded San Jose, which closed out the season with a 25-16-7 mark and will travel to Vancouver to start the first round.
Logan Couture and T.J. Galiardi each scored in the Sharks' regular season-ending loss.
