Randolph was held to 13 points in each of the first two games of the series, but made half his 18 field goal attempts in this contest while his teammates struggled. Memphis shot just 38 percent and made only 4-of-16 from 3-point range, but took advantage of its parade to the free throw line.

Marc Gasol added 16 points and eight boards for the Grizzlies and Tony Allen had 13 points.

Chris Paul, who made an acrobatic layup at the end of the second game of the series to give the Clippers a two-point victory, managed only eight points while hitting 4-of-11. Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 16 points.
