NHL: Boston 2, Tampa Bay 0

BOSTON, April 25 (UPI) -- Tuukka Rask warmed up for the playoffs by putting together his fifth shutout of the season Thursday in the Boston Bruins' 2-0 blanking of Tampa Bay.

The Bruins went into the night's action tied with Montreal for the lead in the Northeast Division and improved their chances for a title by winning for just the second time in seven games.

Rask made 30 saves in the 16th shutout of his six-year career. Dennis Seidenberg and Daniel Paille scored Boston's goals in the second period.

Anders Lindback stopped 22-of-24 shots for the Lightning, who have lost seven of eight.
