David Krejci and Wade Redden found the net for the Bruins, who dropped a fifth game in six outings.

They remained tied with Montreal atop the Northeast Division, however, thanks to the Canadiens' loss to New Jersey Tuesday.

Anton Khudobin started in goal but was yanked in the second period after allowing two goals on 16 shots.

Tuukka Rask relieved and was touched for three goals on 14 shots the rest of the way.
