MLB: Atlanta 10, Colorado 2 (2nd game)

DENVER, April 24 (UPI) -- The Upton brothers stroked back-to-back home runs Tuesday to give the Atlanta Braves a 10-2 win over Colorado and a sweep of their doubleheader at Coors Field.

B.J. Upton launched a curve ball off Jon Garland (2-1) into the left field seats for his third home run and kid brother Justin followed with his Major League-leading 11th homer of the season.

The Uptons and Gerald Laird all finished the contest with two RBI. Juan Francisco drove in three runs for the Braves, who won the opener of the twin bill 4-3 and snapped a three-game losing streak.

Julio Teheran (1-0) earned the victory with seven strong innings. Teheran allowed one run on eight hits and struck out three.

Garland was hung with his first loss of the season after chalking up six runs on 10 hits and six walks over six innings. Eric Young and Michael Cuddyer both had multiple-hit games and drove in a run for the Rockies, who lost their third in a row.
