MLB: Cleveland 5, Houston 4

HOUSTON, April 21 (UPI) -- Mark Reynolds cracked a go-ahead solo homer in the seventh inning Sunday, powering the Cleveland Indians to a 5-4 win over Houston.

Reynolds' clout off Hector Ambriz (0-1) broke a 4-4 deadlock and sent the Indians to a win in the rubber match of a three-game series.

Carlos Santana, Yan Gomes and Drew Stubbs added solo shots in Cleveland's victory.

Cody Allen (1-0) was credited with the win after recording the final out in the sixth inning and Chris Perez notched his second save for the Tribe.

Astros starter Erik Bedard fanned eight over four full innings en route to the no-decision.

Fernando Martinez socked a two-run homer for Houston, which fell to 5-13 on the season.
