MLB: Arizona 5, Colorado 4

DENVER, April 21 (UPI) -- Gerardo Parra's sacrifice fly sent home A.J. Pollock with the go-ahead run in the ninth inning Sunday, boosting Arizona over Colorado 5-4.

The Diamondbacks were trailing 4-3 in their final at-bat when Didi Gregorius collected a lead-off single against Wilton Lopez (0-1) and Pollock sent him to third with a double.

Pinch-hitter Alfredo Marte drove in Gregorius with a groundout, sending Pollock to third, and Parra's fly to deep center field allowed him to come home with the decisive run.

The rally made a winner of Heath Bell (2-0), who had tossed a scoreless eighth, while J.J. Putz worked out of jam in the bottom of the ninth to rack up his third save.

Gregorius also smacked a solo homer for the D-backs, who avoided a three-game sweep at Coors Field.

Troy Tulowitzki went 2-for-4 with a bases-empty shot and Carlos Gonzalez supplied two RBI as the Rockies saw their seven-game winning streak snapped.
