MIAMI, April 17 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade turned in a 21-point, 10-assist performance Wednesday in sending Miami sailing to a 105-93 decision over Orlando.
Miami finished the best regular season in franchise history by winning its 66th game. The Heat captured six more games than any other team in the NBA and will open their bid for a second straight league title by hosting Milwaukee in the first round of the playoffs.
Mike Miller also had 21 points for Miami and Rashard Lewis chipped in 16. LeBron James sat out the contest to rest a sore hamstring.
Orlando finished with the worst record in the league at 20-62. The Magic and Charlotte went into the final night of the regular season tied at the bottom of the NBA, but Charlotte pulled off a win over Cleveland.
Nikola Vucevic led the Magic with 20 points and 13 rebounds. It was his 46th double-double of the season.
