MLB: Detroit 6, Seattle 2

SEATTLE, April 17 (UPI) -- Miguel Cabrera drove in four runs Tuesday to lead the Detroit Tigers past Seattle 6-2 and extend their winning streak to three games.

Cabrera drilled a two-run homer and went 3-for-5 in the victory, and Austin Jackson scored twice and drove in a run.

Torii Hunter drove in a run while extending his hitting streak to 10 games. Doug Fister (3-0) was the winner with two runs on four hits over seven innings.

Aaron Harang (0-1) suffered the loss in his debit with the Mariners. Harang allowed three runs on seven hits over five innings and struck out five.

Kendrys Morales and Michael Morse drove in the runs for the Mariners, who managed only four hits in the game.
