NBA: Charlotte 106, New York 95

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 15 (UPI) -- Gerald Henderson registered 27 points and Kemba Walker added a double-double for Charlotte Monday, helping the Bobcats cool off New York 106-95.

Walker netted 23 points and a dished off a career-high 13 assists as Charlotte handed the Knicks just their second loss in 17 games.

Bismack Biyombo helped out with 10 points and 11 rebounds while Josh McRoberts also contributed 10 points as Charlotte notched a second consecutive victory.

The Knicks, who have clinched the second seed in the Eastern Conference, rested superstar Carmelo Anthony while teammates Tyson Chandler, Amare Stoudemire, J.R. Smith, Kenyon Martin and Marcus Camby also were out.

Chris Copeland paced New York with a career-high 32 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
