ANAHEIM, Calif., April 8 (UPI) -- Corey Perry beat Jonathan Bernier with a goal in the third round of a shootout Sunday, boosting Pacific Division-leading Anaheim over Los Angeles 4-3.
Perry's forehand blast to Bernier's glove side followed tie-breaker tallies from Bobby Ryan and Saku Koivu for the Ducks, who improved to 4-1-1 in their last six games.
Perry also scored in regulation, while Matt Beleskey provided a goal and an assist, and Kyle Palmieri also scored. Viktor Fasth turned aside 35-of-38 shots to earn the victory, which increased the Ducks' divisional lead over Los Angeles to 10 points.
