NBA: Denver 132, Houston 114

DENVER, April 6 (UPI) -- Corey Brewer led seven Denver players into double figures Saturday and the Nuggets won a 132-114 shootout with Houston.

The teams combined to attempt 183 shots from the field -- 59 of which were from 3-point range.

Denver overcame a 10-point deficit after one period to outscore the Rockets 39-21 in the second quarter and the Nuggets then pulled away for their fourth straight victory.

Brewer had 22 points, Wilson Chandler added 21 and Evan Fournier contributed 17. Denver shot 54 percent from the field and forced 18 turnovers.

The Rockets, who had won four in a row, were led by Jeremy Lin with 23 points.
