TORONTO, April 4 (UPI) -- J.P. Arencibia hit two of Toronto's five home runs Thursday and the Blue Jays pounded out a 10-8 decision over Cleveland.
Toronto took a three-run lead in the fifth, lost the advantage in the top of the sixth and then regained it in the bottom half of the inning on its way to its first victory of the season.
Arencibia hit solo homers in both the second and sixth innings. Jose Bautista had a two-run blast in the second for the Blue Jays, Edwin Encarnacion belted a three-run home run in the fifth and Cody Rasmus had a solo affair in the sixth.
Toronto starter Mark Buehrle allowed six runs on seven hits over 5 1/3 innings and the win went to Steve Delabar, who recorded the final two outs in the sixth. Casey Janssen worked a perfect ninth for the save.
Carlos Santana and Mark Reynolds hit solo homers for the Indians, who outhit the Blue Jays 14-9. Brett Myers was charged with the loss after giving up four of the home runs in five innings.
