COL BKB (W): Drexel 67, Florida 57

PHILADELPHIA, April 4 (UPI) -- Hollie Mershon scored 28 points Wednesday, pacing Drexel to a 67-57 win over Florida and into the Women's NIT championship game.

Drexel had never defeated a team from the Southeastern Conference until posting two victories over teams from that league in this tourney.

The Dragons (27-10) will host Utah in the title contest Saturday.

Taylor Wootton added 16 points for Drexel, which finished third in the Colonial Athletic Association during the regular season.

Florida (22-15) was led by 20 points from Sydney Rice.
