COL BKB (W): California 65, Georgia 62

SPOKANE, Wash., April 2 (UPI) -- Layshia Clarendon netted 25 points Monday and second-seeded California reached the NCAA Final Four for the first time with a 65-62 victory over Georgia.

Clarendon hit a trio of 3-pointers and Afure Jemerigbe tallied 14 points for the Golden Bears (32-3), who became the first Pac-12 team other than Stanford to gain the national semifinals since Southern California in 1986.

Talia Caldwell helped out with 10 points while Reshanda Gray added eight and 11 rebounds off the bench for Cal.

Shacobia Barbee put in 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the fourth-seeded Lady Bulldogs (28-7).

Anne Marie Armstrong (12 points) and Jasmine James (11) also reached double figures in Georgia's loss.
