NBA: New Orleans 112, Cleveland 92

NEW ORLEANS, March 31 (UPI) -- Greivis Vasquez and Ryan Anderson combined for 48 points for New Orleans Sunday, powering the Hornets past Cleveland 112-92.

Vasquez finished with 25 points and dished off nine assists. Anderson drained five 3-pointers en route to 23 points in the Hornets' fourth win in 10 games. Anthony Davis helped out with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

The Cavaliers saw the return of Kyrie Irving after an eight-game injury absence, but couldn't end their eight-game skid despite 31 points and six assists from the all-star guard.

Tristan Thomas supplied 12 points and 10 boards for Cleveland.
