COL BKB (W): Connecticut 76, Maryland 50

BRIDGEPORT, Conn., March 30 (UPI) -- Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis and Breanna Stewart had 17 points apiece Saturday in No. 1 Connecticut's 76-50 win over Maryland in NCAA Women's Basketball tourney play.

Mosqueda-Lewis grabbed seven rebounds while Stewart added eight boards and blocked four shots for the Huskies (32-4), who advanced to the Elite Eight in the tournament's Bridgeport, Conn., regional.

Moriah Jefferson contributed 10 points and Stefanie Dolson added nine points with 10 rebounds for UConn, which improved to 44-4 all-time in NCAA Tournament games played in Connecticut, and will play Kentucky Monday, with a trip to the Final Four at stake.

The Terps (25-8) got 13 points from Alyssa Thomas and 11 apiece from Tianna Hawkins and Chloe Pavlech.

Maryland turned the ball over 16 times.
