TAMPA, Fla., March 26 (UPI) -- Steven Stamkos and Martin St. Louis each supplied a goal and an assist Tuesday, boosting the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 2-1 victory over Buffalo.
Mathieu Garon wasn't overly busy in net for the Bolts, logging 13 saves as Tampa Bay recorded a victory with assistant coaches Dan Lacroix and Steve Thomas filling in behind the bench.

The Lightning are awaiting the arrival of new head Coach Jon Cooper, who replaces the fired Guy Boucher. Cooper is set to make his NHL coaching debut Friday in a home game against New Jersey.
Jordan Leopold scored and Ryan Miller stopped 21 shots for Buffalo.
