NHL: San Jose 5, Anaheim 3

ANAHEIM, Calif., March 26 (UPI) -- Brent Burns, Martin Havlat and Joe Pavelski each notched a goal and an assist Monday in the San Jose Sharks' 5-3 win over Anaheim.

James Sheppard turned back an Anaheim rally with an unassisted tally midway through the third period and Dan Boyle also found the net for San Jose, which gained revenge for a 5-3 loss to the Ducks March 18.

Antti Niemi stopped 24-of-27 shots as the Sharks won for the second time in three games overall as they seek a Western Conference playoff spot.

Corey Perry provided a goal and an assist for the Pacific Division-leading Ducks, who fell for the third straight time.

Emerson Etem and Francois Beauchemin tallied and Viktor Fasth made 34 saves in the loss.
