NBA: Minnesota 117, Phoenix 86

PHOENIX, March 23 (UPI) -- Andrei Kirilenko was one of seven Minnesota players in double figures Friday, sending the Timberwolves sailing past Phoenix 117-86.

Dante Cunningham added 18 points for Minnesota, which had lost 12 of its previous 15 games.

Luis Scola scored 17 points and claimed 12 rebounds to lead Phoenix, which lost for the sixth time in seven outings.

Minnesota opened a 28-point halftime lead against the struggling Suns, who shot just 37 percent from the floor and made a mere 4-of-22 from 3-point range.
