NBA: Chicago 87, Indiana 84

CHICAGO, March 23 (UPI) -- Luol Deng netted 20 points Saturday and the Chicago Bulls beat Central Division rival Indiana 87-84 in their push for an Eastern Conference playoff spot.

Deng grabbed seven rebounds while Carlos Boozer had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Chicago, which broke a two-game losing streak and won for only the second time in six contests.

The sixth-seeded Bulls came into the contest with a 2 1/2-game cushion for a playoff spot in the East.

Taj Gibson and Nazr Mohammed each scored 11 points for Chicago

Indiana got 23 points and 11 rebounds from Paul George. Roy Hibbert had 18 points and 12 boards for the Pacers, who had a three-game winning streak snapped.
