NBA: New Orleans 90, Memphis 83

NEW ORLEANS, March 22 (UPI) -- Robin Lopez keyed a New Orleans rally Friday and the Hornets put together a rare winning streak with a 90-83 victory over Memphis.

New Orleans went into the game with just 23 wins, tied for the fewest in the Western Conference.

The Hornets fell behind by seven after one period, but came from behind thanks to 23 points and 10 rebounds from Lopez. Anthony Davis added 18 points and 15 boards.

New Orleans has won two games in a row for the first time in more than a month.

Mike Conley led the Grizzlies with 20 points and Marc Gasol had 16. Memphis had won eight of its previous 10 contests.
