NHL: Anaheim 4, Chicago 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., March 21 (UPI) -- Teemu Selanne put Anaheim in front with 4:23 to play Wednesday and the Ducks went on to defeat Chicago 4-2.

The Blackhawks suffered just their sixth loss of the season, only three of which have come in the regulation 60 minutes. Chicago had won its previous three games, but Anaheim moved within three points of the Blackhawks for the best record in the NHL.

Chicago had a 2-1 lead heading into the final period thanks to goals from Jonathan Toews and Nick Leddy, but Jonas Hiller stopped all eight shots he saw in the third while Anaheim was rallying.

Bobby Ryan tied it with 5:27 remaining and Selanne gave the Ducks the lead just over a minute later. Sheldon Souray clinched the victory by scoring into an empty net with 21 seconds to go.

Anaheim has also lost only three games in regulation this season, but has dropped one more in overtime than the Blackhawks.

Both Hiller and Chicago's Corey Crawford made 22 saves.
