NBA: Memphis 90, Oklahoma City 89

MEMPHIS, March 20 (UPI) -- Marc Gasol's tip in of Zach Randolph's missed shot with a second left in overtime Wednesday lifted Memphis to a 90-89 win over Oklahoma City.

Jerryd Bayless kept Memphis alive in regulation by hitting a 3-pointer that tied the game with 3.7 seconds left in the fourth quarter and the Grizzlies came up with more dramatics in the extra period to win their second straight.

Baskets by Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in the final minute of overtime gave the Thunder a one-point lead.

Randolph's bid to win it on a jumper misfired, but Gasol tipped it home. Westbrook's desperation 3-point attempt failed to go, leaving the Thunder with their second straight loss. Oklahoma City's lead over the charging Denver Nuggets in the Northwest Division was cut to three games. Denver has closed the gap with 13 straight victories.

Mike Conley led Memphis with 24 points while Bayless had 20. Durant scored 32 points, but made only 11-of-28 shots from the field.
