PALM HARBOR, Fla., March 17 (UPI) -- Kevin Streelman won the Tampa Bay Championship Sunday, firing a 4-under-par 67 to pull away and wrap up his first PGA Tour win by two strokes over Boo Weekley.
Streelman, the third-round co-leader, ended up at 10-under-par 274. Weekley charged up 34 places in the final round with an 8-under 63 to finish at 276.
Claiming sole possession of third place was Cameron Tringale, who registered a 5-under 66 to finish at 7-under 277 on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club.
Justin Leonard fell off the pace after sharing the third-round lead with Streelman and George Coetzee, ending with a bogey to card a 71.
Joining him in fourth at minus-6 were were defending champion Luke Donald (69) and Greg Chalmers (70).
One shot further back were Jim Furyk (71), Sergio Garcia (69), Pat Perez (67), Shawn Stefani (70), Harris English (69), Jordan Spieth (70) and Ben Kohles (71).
Coetzee registered a 3-over 74 Sunday, tumbling into a 17th-place tie at minus-3.
