BUFFALO, N.Y., March 16 (UPI) -- Kyle Turris fired in a power-play goal with 1:06 remaining in overtime Saturday, boosting the Ottawa Senators to a 4-3 win over Buffalo.
The Senators went on a 4-on-3 power play in the extra frame when Buffalo's Christian Ehrhoff was whistled for interference, and Turris made the Sabres pay when he one-timed a pass from Daniel Alfredsson under the crossbar.
The tally was the second of the game for Turris, who also picked up an assist for Ottawa -- which won for only the second time in March.
Ben Bishop turned aside 33-of-36 shots, Patrick Wiercioch had a goal and an assist and Chris Phillips scored a goal for the Senators.
Drew Stafford notched a pair of goals and Ryan Miller made 30 saves for the Sabres, who fell for the fifth time in six contests.
