Andrew Ladd finally wrapped things up with an empty-net goal in the final 30 seconds.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 30 shots for the Rangers, losers of three out of four. One of Pavelec's saves came on a penalty shot taken by Marian Gaborik in the first period.
