NBA: Golden State 105, Detroit 97

OAKLAND, Calif., March 14 (UPI) -- Stephen Curry and David Lee combined for 51 points and 17 rebounds Wednesday in sending Golden State to a 105-97 triumph over Detroit.

Detroit lost its seventh in a row, the last three having come on a road trip that concludes Saturday in Portland.

Curry had 31 points while Lee delivered 15 rebounds to go with his 20 points. Jarrett Jack pitched in 19 points as part of the Warriors' 54 percent shooting show.

Golden State pulled away late after leading by only four with 10 minutes remaining and won its second in a row.

The Warriors currently hold down the sixth spot in the Western Conference playoff race, a distant seven games behind fifth-place Denver and just 1 1/2 games in front of seventh-place Houston.

Rodney Stuckey scored 22 points to lead the Pistons.
