NBA: Milwaukee 115, Sacramento 113

SACRAMENTO, March 11 (UPI) -- Monta Ellis scored 29 points, including two free throws with 6.6 seconds left, helping the Milwaukee Bucks fend off Golden State 115-113 Sunday.

The Bucks led by 15 points after Mike Dunleavy canned a 3-pointer with 3:47 remaining, but the Kings then mounted a furious rally down the stretch keyed by 10 points from Jimmer Fredette.

They pulled to within one point at 113-112 on Tyreke Evans' lay-in, but Ellis was fouled by John Salmons and calmly sank a pair from the line to increase Milwaukee's edge to three.

Evans' desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer fell short, and the surging Bucks survived to notch their sixth win in seven games.

Ellis also provided nine assists while Dunleavy and Brandon Jennings finished with 16 points each.

DeMarcus Cousins scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Evans added 20 and Jason Thompson provided 18 and eight boards for Sacramento.
