NHL: Montreal 4, Tampa Bay 3

TAMPA, Fla., March 9 (UPI) -- Brendan Gallagher finished off a third-period rally with a go-ahead goal Saturday and the Montreal Canadiens pulled out a 4-3 win over Tampa Bay.

The streaking Habs improved to 3-1 on a five-game road trip thanks to the comeback, in which they erased a 3-1 deficit in the final frame.

Brian Gionta provided a goal and an assist while Alexei Emelin and Tomas Plekanec each added a score for Montreal.

Carey Price earned the win with 20 saves.

Struggling Tampa Bay got a league-leading 19th goal and an assist from Steven Stamkos but still stumbled to their seventh loss in eight games.

The Lightning also got goals from Ryan Malone and Sami Salo.

Cedrick Desjardins made 25 saves for the Bolts.
