NBA: Oklahoma City 116, Charlotte 94

CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 8 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant helped stake Oklahoma City to a large halftime lead Friday and the Thunder coasted to their fourth straight win, 116-94 over Charlotte.

The Bobcats have lost nine in a row and have won eight fewer games than any other team in the NBA.

Oklahoma City completed a 4-1 road trip by hitting 56 percent of its field goal attempts and making 12-of-24 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Durant played just 25 minutes, but scored 19 points, collected six rebounds and handed out seven assists. Derek Fisher and Thabo Sefolosha added 13 points each for the Thunder, who will play four of their next six at home. Oklahoma City has a 27-4 record on its own floor this season.

A 36-point second quarter gave Oklahoma City a 14-point halftime lead and that advantage grew to 24 heading into the fourth period.

Gerald Henderson scored 21 points to lead the Bobcats.
