NBA: Chicago 105, Charlotte 75

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Taj Gibson made 8-of-11 shots from the field Friday and paced a balanced attack that sent Chicago blasting by Charlotte 105-75.

The Bulls bounced back from a one-sided setback at the hands of Miami 24 hours earlier to defeat the team with the fewest number of wins (13) in the NBA.

Chicago held Charlotte to two points through the game's opening 4:30 and was never threatened while shooting 50 percent from the field.

Ten members of the Bulls scored and eight of them reached double figures, led by Gibson's 18 points. Luol Deng added 14.

Charlotte's Kemba Walker led all scorers with 27, but the Bobcats made only a third of their shots and missed 14 free throws.
