HOUSTON, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Forward Thomas Robinson, the No. 5 pick in last year's NBA draft, has been traded by the Sacramento Kings to the Houston Rockets, the teams announced Thursday.

Robinson and forwards Francisco Garcia and Tyler Honeycutt were traded to Houston while the Kings received forward Patrick Patterson, guard Toney Douglas and center Cole Aldrich. Houston also paid Sacramento an undisclosed sum of cash.

Robinson was averaging 4.8 points and 4.7 rebounds over 51 games with Sacramento. Garcia had averages of 5.2 points and 1.7 rebounds in 40 games while Honeycutt had been in just nine games this season.

Patterson started 38 games for the Rockets this season and is averaging 11.6 points and 4.7 rebounds a game. Douglas served as a backup to point guard Jeremy Lin and Aldrich averaged 1.7 points in 30 games this season.

The Houston Chronicle reported the Rockets are trading Marcus Morris to the Phoenix Suns. Morris, who started 17 games in his 54 appearances this year, averaged 8.6 points and 4.1 rebounds a game.

If he joins the Suns, Morris would be reunited with his twin brother Markieff Morris. Both played collegiately for Kansas.

Robinson and Aldrich also played for the Jayhawks while in college.
