NHL: Minnesota 2, Nashville 1 (OT)

ST. PAUL, Minn., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Devin Setoguchi fired in a power-play goal with 39 seconds left in overtime Saturday, lifting the Minnesota Wild to a 2-1 win over Nashville.

Minnesota went on a 4-on-3 power play in the extra frame when Nashville's Paul Gaustad was given a controversial penalty for putting his hand over the puck while in the face-off circle.

The Wild capitalized when Mikko Koivu found Setoguchi with a pass in the left circle, and the Minnesota forward one-timed it past Predators goalie Chris Mason for his first goal of the season.

Cal Clutterbuck also scored and Niklas Backstrom stopped 25-of-26 shots for the Wild, who ended a three-game skid and improved to 5-2-0 at home.

Gaustad notched Nashville's only score in the first period.

Mason finished with 30 saves for the Predators, whose four-game winning streak was snapped.
