Soccer star in run-in with airport police

MILAN, Italy, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Soccer player Mario Balotelli had a run-in with police Thursday when he refused to move his car from a no-parking zone at the Milan airport, officials said.

The AC Milan striker was at the airport to pick up friends and became upset when traffic police asked him to move his car, ANSA reported.

He complied, but only to move to another off-limits area.

When police attempted to give him a ticket, Balotelli reportedly became so upset that additional police had to be called in.

In the end, Balotelli was not given a parking ticket, but he was cited for insurance-related violations.
